SUMMARY:Joint WG3 and WG4 workshop on emerging chalcogenide technologies
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is part of the COST RenewPV action networking activities. In this workshop\, the recent advancements in chalcogenide perovskites and Sb-based chalcogenides will be presented and discussed. Workshop is divided into four sessions\, two of them focused on material synthesis and processing whereas other two on the device development and novel applications. The aim of the workshop is to present and discuss the latest achievements in emerging chalcogenide technologies for PV application\, to identify challenges in material processing and device optimisation and their potential solutions\, and finally to establish new collaborations. \n\n\n										The event will take place in the meeting room B2-39d (ground floor in the Physics Department).\nThe password for the zoom link for online participants will be sent via the RenewPV newsletter a few days before the workshop. \n			\n									Workshop program

SUMMARY:Joint WG2+5 Meeting at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin\, Lise-Meitner Campus\, Wannsee\, Berlin\, 12-13 September
DESCRIPTION:As announced at the 1st RenewPV workshop last month we are organising a joint WG2 (Materials and Device Modelling) and WG5 (Advanced Characterization) meeting on 12-13 September in Berlin. The aim of this meeting is to explore opportunities for members of WGs 2 and 5 to work together. We would like attendees to present ongoing or planned research where there is a need for input from modelling and/or materials/device characterisation. The focus of the discussions and other activities at the meeting will be on making connections and initiating new collaborative activities. \nWe invite all those interested and available to attend this meeting to complete the following brief expression of interest form:  https://forms.gle/ECNBDB4aytCGyGrq5. \nThe deadline for completion is 7th August. We will then invite participants to attend (our budget should allow for ~20 reimbursed participants) ensuring a distribution across member countries\, research areas and techniques.

SUMMARY:1st Cypriot PV Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This 1st Cypriot PV Workshop is a joint force of the “DegradationLab” and “TESTARE” projects aiming to present the latest trends in Research and Development in Photovoltaics (PVs) in Cyprus and beyond. This workshop will provide the scientific background in the field of new-generation PV and emerging technologies\, with an emphasis on their stability and reliability. The attendees will have the opportunity to access the new facilities developed under the “DegradationLab” infrastructure project during an Open Day session. The workshop is intended for the local and international scientific community\, industry\, enterprises\, young researchers and stakeholders in the PV energy sector. The participants will get the required technical background and in-field knowledge of the work carried out in the “DegradationLab” project and be introduced to the activities of the recently started “TESTARE” project.

SUMMARY:1st International emerging photovoltaics workshop on the 15-16 June in Tallinn - take part via online streaming
DESCRIPTION:Laboratory for thin film energy materials is organising the 1st International Workshop on Emerging Inorganic Chalcogenides Photovoltaics (ReNewPV). This Workshop takes place on the 15th and 16th of June at Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel\, Tallinn\, Estonia. \nThe ReNewPV Workshop brings together leading and pioneering academic and industry researchers from across Europe and worldwide\, targeting to pool current and stimulate further research development and deployment of emerging inorganic chalcogenide thin-film PV technologies. This workshop is organised in the frame of COST Action CA21148\, and it is a unique event primarily focused on the discussions of the progress in the development of emerging inorganic materials. \nNearly 90 scientists around the world gather to Tallinn to present their latest R&D.
