Training And Research Capacity Building

Description

A key focus of the network will be to enhance the career development of ECIs to produce future research leaders. Workshops, trainings will be provided by experts in the field and will be adopted for young research students from Bachelor to PhD level working in the hub.
The main tasks of the WG1 are: 
  • To organize workshops, seminars, conferences and training schools on new chalcogenide materials and on mentoring programmes for grant applications.
  • To make all seminars and training materials available on the RENEW-PV website.

The European Green Deal directives endorse the development of new renewable energy concepts using non-toxic materials with low environmental impact and low greenhouse gas emissions. To meet this goal, RENEW-PV brings together leading and pioneering academic and industry researchers from across Europe and worldwide, targeting to pool current and stimulate further research development and deployment of emerging inorganic chalcogenide thin-film PV technologies.
