The joint ReNewPV–CA21148 / 5GSOLAR booth at EUPVSEC2025 showcased the strength of networking within the ReNewPV Action, connecting academia and industry through CTF Solar GmbH and Sunplugged. Visitors explored emerging thin-film PV technologies, including flexible and rigid devices, opaque and semi-transparent designs, bifacial PV, and applications beyond electricity generation, such as PV-driven hydrogen and carbon capture. Thanks to partners and colleagues from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology and IREC – Institut de Recerca en Energia de Catalunya, as well as Dr. Robert Arndt (CTF Solar) and Dr. Andreas Zimmermann (Sunplugged), for contributing to the booth’s success. This networking continues to connect research and industry, shaping the future of solar energy.

To meet this goal, RENEW-PV brings together leading and pioneering academic and industry researchers from across Europe and worldwide, targeting to pool current and stimulate further research development and deployment of emerging inorganic chalcogenide thin-film PV technologies.
