WG2 MEETING: LINKING FIRST PRINCIPLES MATERIALS MODELLING AND DEVICE SIMULATION APPROACHES

This meeting brought together experts in first principles materials and device modelling to explore new ways to better integrate these approaches for predictive modelling of photovoltaic device performance. Presentations from this event introducing the key methodologies have been made available on the RenewPV website. As an additional outcome of this meeting a research article is currently in preparation which will summarise key methodologies for first-principles based device modelling, present new results for resulting from their application to CdTe as well as discuss future challenges.
